Aarya 2 videos
Story :-
Allu Arjun’s film Arya was a runaway hit. A new film is now being made with Allu arjun as hero and the film has been titled as Arya-2. Sukumar is the director.
While the film has been titled as Arya-2it is not a sequel to Arya but an entirely new film. Kajal Aagarwal is the heroine. Navdeep is the second hero.
Arya-2 is a story about friendship between two boys- Allu Arjun and Navdeep. A girl ( Kajal Agarwal) enters their lives. The rest f the story is how the two friends react to the entry of the girl into their lives and how their friendship takes a new turn. Devi Sree Prasad is scoring the music for the film.
The much touted sequel to Arya, Arya-2 finally hit th screens today. The film has opened to some great expectations but has failed to live up to it. Arjun plays a obsessive and psychic lover and friend in the film.
The characterization of the hero and the weak character of the heroine coupled with a lousy story and screenplay marred the film completely.
Arya-2 is easily one of the films that he would rather like to forget. Allu Arjun. Did put in a lot of effort but it all went waste as director Sukumar botched it all up.
Arya-2
Allu Arjun stars in the lead in 'Arya 2', a sequel to the blockbuster

Review:
Story
Pandu (Mahesh Babu) is a ruthless mafia man who kills anybody for money. He falls in love with Sruthi (Ileana) at the very first sight. Sruthi too loves Pandu, but hesitates to confess her love to him as he is a reckless criminal. Though a goon, Pandu has certain rigid principles that leads for an enmity with Ali (Prakash Raj) - the biggest mafia don in the town. The rest of the story is all about how he settles score with Ali.
Artists Performance
Mahesh: In my opinion, this was the best ever performance by Mahesh Babu. His acting skills not only render commercial entertainment to the general crowds, but also delight the serious filmgoers. Puri Jagan should be commended for doing great characterization for Mahesh. Mahesh Babu’s one-liners uttered in Uttarandhra dialect are real fun. Mahesh Babu who is undoubtedly the best good looking hero of this generation is extremely fascinating with his new hairdo.
Others: Ileana goes a step ahead from Devadasu in histrionics department. She is also another attraction for this movie. Sayaji Shinde steals the show in certain intense moments as a sincere cop. Prakash Raj is entertaining. Nasseer is extremely good in an episode that takes place 20 minutes before the climax. The comedy track of Brahmanandam and Ali is not impressive. This track should have been trimmed towards the end. Jyothirana is good as rowdy seductress. Item song girl Mumaith Khan put on a bit of weight.
Technical Departments:
Story - screenplay - dialogues - Direction: Story of the film is simple. The basic storyline of a guy trying knock off mafia by being a part of it seems to have certain roots in Akira Kurosawa’s ‘Yojimbo’. The twist in the plot has roots in 'Donnie Brasco'. Basically, Pokiri is a screenplay based film with a wafer-thin storyline. Screenplay is commendable. Puri Jagan’s asset has always been his characterization. He gave perfect characterization to Mahesh Babu’s character. Direction is neat, but for a few glitches in the second half. Dialogues written by Puri are very good. He also attacked TV channels and newspapers through Sayaji Shinde in an excellent manner. However, the director should have handled the following aspects in a better way
1. Prakash Raj who is introduced as a powerful mafia don is projected in comical style in the second half.
2. Sayaji Shinde’s character that is established very firmly in the beginning becomes weak towards climax.
3. There is no clarity regarding conflict aspect as the real intention of hero is not revealed for 80% of the film.
Other departments: Music by Mani Sharma is an asset. His background music is also good. ‘Gala Gala’ song is the highlight. When I listened to that song, I often wondered why lyricist used ‘Kanneeru’ in the lyrics. But the lead scene of that song aptly suited it. Raju Sundaram’s signature is prevalent in most of the songs. Cinematography Shyam K Naidu is good. Fights by Vijayan are satisfactory. Gunfire is used in most of the fights. Editing by Marthand K Venkatesh is neat with fast-paced cuts. Production values by Vaishno Academy are good.
Analysis: First half of the film is very entertaining. The tempo has gone down a bit in the second half, but the run up to the climax is good. The plus points of this film are Mahesh Babu’s extraordinary performance and Puri Jagan’s characterization of hero. On the flip side, second half should have handled better. The emotions aspect is not properly taken care of. On the commercial front, Pokiri film has more appeal towards A centers and youth base compared to family crowds and B/C centers. On a whole, Mahesh Babu’s performance in Pokiri itself is worth your ticket and the rest is bonus!

Review:
Story
Ashok (NTR) is a bike mechanic who stays away from his family as he nurses a strained relation with his father. He falls in love with Anjali (Sameera Reddy). KK (Sonu Sood) is a big gangster who sets his eyes on Anjali. Ashok wins Anjali through love and KK wants to force her into a marriage. The rest of the story is all about how Ashok eliminates the baddies.
Artists Performance
NTR: NTR changed his style in this film. His dialogue delivery mellowed down a bit and histrionics are little subtle. NTR’s wardrobe is good in this film. NTR kind of dances are there in two mass songs
Others: Sameera Reddy is adequate as heroine. Prakash Raj is pretty good in a vital role. Sonu Sood is perfect as the main villain. Jeeva steals the show as a comic baddy. Supreet (Chatrapati fame) is good as villain’s brother. Raghu Babu is neat. Rajiv Kanakala has an important role.
Technical Departments:
Story - screenplay - Direction: Story of the film is adequate with good quota of three major elements - Family orientation, love thread and mass conflict. What makes the story more interesting is the screenplay and narration technique. Director Surender Reddy used ‘quick flashback technique’ (showing the effect first and then rewind it to the cause) one time in Athanokkade film where last scene of an episode is shown first and then the film is rewound to show the entire episode in detail. In this film, he used that technique in 6-7 episodes in an efficient manner. If those scenes were narrated in regular format, it would have been very routine. Director also had pretty good expertise in shot-making and conceiving of action episodes. However, Surender Reddy should seriously consider toning down the usage of optics and jazzy narrative techniques for unimportant scenes. These optics should be used selectively to derive the maximum output. The latter part of the second half reminds us of Ram Gopal Varma’s James (heroine reaching the edge of cliff and climax rain fight). Director could able to narrate the film effectively without revealing the main conflict point in the first half. But once the main conflict point is out, the film moves on predictable mode. The director could not balance the content in the film as 70% of the film revolves around heavy duty action episodes. The following episodes got instant applause
1. Kid taking his nicker out to insult goons
2. Prakash Raj dialogues in lead scene to climax
3. Jeeva’s comedy as villain’s sidekick
4. Interval episode
Cinematography: Cinematography by Senthil is excellent. We can’t give the entire credit to Senthil as there is lot of DI (Digital Intermediate) and optical work involved. The usage of S35 camera enhanced the visual grandeur. I was very impressed with his style of canning mud water splashes using soft light in Chatrapati film. In this film too he used similar technique to get good output. Chase sequences during interval episode are captured brilliantly.
Other departments: Music by Mani Sharma is good. Three songs (1, 3 and 6) are good on screen. Dialogues are adequate. Editing by Gowtam Raju is good. Stunts by Stun Siva are impressive. Lyrics by Chandrabose are good in ‘Jabiliki’ song. The production values of this film are grand. This is probably one of the very few films that are made with such a grand production values in the recent years.
Analysis: First half of the film is Ok and second half is decent. The beginning part of the film, interval episode and lead episodes to climax are good. The plus points are NTR, Surender’s screenplay and taking, Cinematography and grand production values. The major drawbacks of the film is lack of entertainment
